Infrastructure Built for Freshness
Infrastructure designed to protect quality from post-harvest handling to export.
Every stage kept under one roof
Our facilities are our biggest strength. We believe in latest technology enabled machinery and update it regularly to match global norms and requirements. Together they cover a pack house, a pre-cooling facility, a cold storage facility, a quality control team and a loading area.

Pack House
Sorting, grading and packing under one roof.
Our pack house is spread across an area of 25,000 square feet, which allows us to sort, grade and pack at least 100 MT of produce per day.
That throughput is delivered by a seasonal workforce of 1,200 people, most of whom are women.

Pre-Cooling Chamber
Field heat removed before produce enters storage.
We operate our own pre-cooling chamber, which can hold 8 x 40 FT containers, or 100 metric tons of produce, at a time.

Cold Storage
Temperature held from packing through to dispatch.
The cold storage unit can store a total of 60 x 40 containers, or 700 metric tons of produce, at a time.

Quality Control
A dedicated team on every process.
We take quality with the utmost care in every process we run. We have a quality-centric team of dedicated people with strong technical knowledge and a good amount of industry experience.
Specific test protocols, certification scopes and buyer-side inspection requirements are confirmed against an enquiry rather than published here.

Loading & Logistics
Positioned close to Mumbai's sea and air ports.
Our pack house is located in Nashik city in Maharashtra state, India. Nashik is known as an agriculture and horticulture land of India.
Proximity to the nearest sea and air ports in Mumbai allows us to ship fresh fruits and vegetables to different continents of the world without affecting their colour, freshness and natural taste.

Packhouse 2
To match increasing demand we have added a brand new packhouse, pre-cooling and cold storage. It is spread across an area of 90,000 square feet in the vicinity of Konkangaon, Nashik, located about 10 kilometres from our existing facility in Jaulke, Nashik.

Sorting, grading and packing
Equipped with the latest technology-enabled sorting, grading and packing instruments with a processing capacity of 150 metric tons per day, which is approximately 10 containers per day.
Five unloading bays
Five unloading bays equipped with effective conveyor belts move incoming fruit directly to the packhouse without any extra handling.
HVAC temperature control
The fruit incoming area is installed with an HVAC temperature monitoring system to maintain temperature and humidity control, which in effect extends the shelf life of the fruit. The packhouse area is installed with the same system.
Five packing lines
Five packing lines, each with a capacity of 30 MT per packing day. 800 workers can work simultaneously to pack 150 MT each packing day.
Material storage
The material storage area is expanded to over 100,000 square feet, enabled with the latest logistics technology for quick accessibility of packing material in a well organised manner.
Pre-cooling 2
Six reversible precoolers, each with a capacity of 10 MT (14 pallets per shift), plus a single pallet pre-cooling chamber with a capacity of 25 MT of fruit in each packing shift. The compressors and heat exchangers installed consume low energy throughout all processes, supporting a sustainable environment initiative.
Cold storage 2
The cold storage area can hold up to 440 pallets (2 x 220 pallets) of fruit at a time and is directly connected to the container loading area to maintain the temperature of the fruit before dispatch.

Capacities as currently published
Every capacity, area and workforce figure on this page reflects the facility information Neelay Agro currently publishes. Where a figure is not published — test protocols, certification scopes, transit times or per-destination logistics — we confirm it directly against an enquiry rather than state it here.
